Door Supervisors renewing their SIA licence are required to complete the Door Supervisor Refresher Course. This training is now a legal requirement for continuing to work in the security industry, as it ensures licence holders remain up to date with current risks, responsibilities, and best practice.
We appreciate that taking time off is difficult, as such we utilise blended learning to reduce your time in centre. To comply with SIA regulations you will need to complete an e-learning course prior to attending, this reduces your time in centre by a full day. A link to this e-learning will be sent to you via email.
To attend the course, learners must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate. If you do not currently have a valid First Aid qualification, you can add our First Aid Add On course to your booking, allowing you to complete both requirements and renew your licence without delay.
Door Supervisors must therefore complete the Refresher Training before renewing their SIA licence to ensure they meet the latest SIA regulations.
