How do I get a Personal Licence?
To get a personal licence, you must first attend the Personal Licence Holders Training course and pass an exam to obtain the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders, commonly known as APLH.
Once qualified, you can apply for a personal licence with your local council for £37.

Personal Licence Course Assessment
At the end of your Personal Licence training course, you’ll do a 40-question multiple-choice exam. The questions are all related to the information you learned in your course, so don’t worry too much. It’s all about showing off your new knowledge!
How to get your Personal Licence
To get your personal licence, the first step is to attend and pass the 1-day personal licence course. Once you pass and receive your certificate, you can apply via your local licensing authority (usually your local council).
